Michael Rezendes to speak at NECIR high school training program

Pulitzer-prize winning investigative reporter Michael Rezendes, who is portrayed by Mark Ruffalo in the Academy-Award winning film Spotlight, will address students during the first session of NECIR’s summer high school investigative reporting workshop. Rezendes is an investigative reporter and writer for the Boston Globe and an alum of Boston University, with which NECIR is affiliated. Rezendes’ decorated career in journalism includes revelatory investigative reporting on sex abuse in the Catholic church, financial corruption among charitable foundations, the 9/11 attacks and school desegregation.
