Workshop alumna Monica Mercuri left the 2015 Summer Investigative Reporting Workshop ready to take over as Editor in Chief of The Norwalk High School Pawprint. NECIR is excited to share her first issue as Editor in Chief.

In Monica’s reflection on her time at the workshop, she wrote, “Currently, as Editor-In-Chief for my school newspaper, The Paw Print, I have used the skills of accurate reporting, writing, research, and backgrounding that I learned when writing my news articles. I can definitely say I am more confident conducting interviews as well.”

Be sure to check out Monica’s full reflection, and read the October issue of The NHS Paw Print.
